ABOUT THE CLOTHING:
::Unless otherwise noted, the clothing has been cleaned.
::There is a coon cat here at NSV Corporate HQ. He doesn't touch the clothing, but a stray hair may find itself on the item.
::NSV Corporate HQ is smoke free but I cannot guarantee that the previous owners of the piece of clothing did not smoke.
::Different computer monitors can (and often do) alter colors. We also all see colors diferently. I try my best to describe the hue of a piece, but descriptions are subjective, so if EXACT color is a concern, please email me before buying.
::The clothing is sometimes clipped to fit against the dress form, in order to best show the lines of the piece.
MEASUREMENTS AND SIZING:
::Unless otherwise stated, we cross the front, as explained below, and then the measurement is doubled.

BUST::From armpit to armpit or across
the area where there is darting, taking into consideration any darts or pleats.
REMEMBER - the bust measurement is NOT your bra size.

WAIST::At the waist seam or at the smallest
part of the bodice of the dress.

HIPS::Approximately 10" down from the
waist.

SHOULDERS::Seam to seam, or if there
are no seams, across the back between the approximate natural shoulders.

SLEEVES::Shoulder seam to cuff, and if
there's no shoulder seam, from the approximate natural shoulder.
- LENGTH::From the middle of the shoulder of the dress to the hem.
::Please remember:
- The ONLY way to know if a piece is going to
fit is to measure a similar piece of clothing and compare the measurements
to those of the item being sold.
- Due to vanity sizing, vintage sizing has no relation to modern sizing, and modern sizing is unreliable. It is not a good way to determine whether or not a piece of clothing is going to fit.
PAYMENT AND SHIPPING:
::Payment is due within seven days of purchase.
::Item will be shipped within two days of payment, unless there is an emergency (or snowstorm - we are in Maine!).

::Items are shipped via Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Purchases over $100.00 are insured for free.

the shipping and tracking information when your item is shipped.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
::I ship via First Class International Mail.

money for items that are lost in the mail.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS:
::Items can be returned for a full refund if there is an error in the description,
e.g. measurements or disclosure of flaws.
::Items can be returned for a refund, less a 20% restocking fee and shipping
both ways, if the item is returned for any other reason, e.g. change of mind.
